Trending: Steph Curry Responds to Ben Felter’s Adorable Tribute to Fiancée Cameron Brink

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors reacted to Ben Felter’s loving post for his fiancée Cameron Brink. Curry is the godbrother of the LA Sparks star forward, who recently got engaged to Felter after more than three years of dating.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Felter wrote a loving message for Brink less than 24 hours after their engagement was made official. The couple met as student-athletes at Stanford, wherein he was a member of the rowing team and she was the star of the women’s basketball team.

“You’re my forever. I don’t know how I got this lucky ❤️,” Felter wrote in the caption.

Steph Curry was one of several sportspeople who reacted to the post, with the Golden State Warriors superstar congratulating the couple for their engagement.

“Congrats LoveBirds!!!! ❤️” Curry commented.

Ben Felter proposed to Cameron Brink over the weekend during a trip to Paris, France after the LA Sparks star finished her third annual “Next 22” basketball camp for girls. Felter went down to one knee as Brink said yes with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Felter and Brink began dating in 2021 and have been together ever since. He recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He’s currently back at Stanford to complete his Master’s degree while also working a couple of part-time jobs.

On the other hand, Brink is still recovering from a knee injury she suffered back in June that needed surgery. She started rehabbing, but there’s no clear timetable for her return. The typical recovery timeline for a torn ACL is estimated to be nine to 12 months.

How is Steph Curry related to Cameron Brink?

As mentioned above, Steph Curry and Cameron Brink are godsiblings. Curry’s godparents are Brink’s parents, Greg and Michelle, while Cameron’s godparents are Dell and Sonya Curry. But how did it happen and how did the Currys and Brinks families know each other?

According to USA Today, Dell Curry and Greg Brink were teammates for the Virginia Tech Hokies, while Sonya Curry and Michelle Bain-Brink were roommates on campus. The couples stayed in touch after college and remained friends to this day despite the Currys’ divorce in August 2021.

Steph Curry has been a guide for Cameron Brink’s basketball career and has attended some of her games in high school and at Stanford. The 22-year-old forward was drafted second overall this year by the LA Sparks but suffered a torn ACL in her left knee 15 games into her rookie campaign.
