Georgia running back Nate Frazier is calling out Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key for something he said about him to the media.
Everyone knows that Georgia football and Georgia Tech do not like each other, but at the same time there is a lot of respect between the two programs. That was seen after Georgia beat the Yellow Jackets 44-42 in eight overtimes when Kirby Smart and Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key embraced each other and shared an emotional moment directly after the game.
But even though these programs do have a lot of respect for each other, that isn’t stopping Georgia from taking a couple shots at Georgia Tech after beating them for the seventh season in a row.
Georgia running back Nate Frazier got involved on Sunday in the postgame trolling, as he took a shot at Key on his Instagram story.

Nate Frazier responds to Key after scoring game-winning 2-point conversion
Frazier had a pretty solid game for Georgia against Tech on Friday. He carried tha ball 11 times for 50 yards and also caught two passes for 18 yards as well. But the biggest play of the game for Frazier came in the eighth overtime when he ran in the game-winning 2-point conversion that won UGA the game over Georgia Tech.
While this is enough to celebrate on its own, Key gave Frazier a little extra motiviation to celebrate online and call him out. On Sunday, Frazier posted the above clip on Instagram showing the Georgia Tech head coach saying that he doesn’t know who he is, before cutting to him running in the game-winning score in the eighth overtime.
This is the type of rivalry banter we all need more of in college football. While it is fun to see teams fight, push and shove after the game, there was a too little much of it across the country this past weekend. But this response from Frazier is perfect, because he’s letting his play on the field do all the talking instead of starting a meaningless fight after the game.
But the best part about of all of this is that Key definitely knows who Frazier is now, as this game-winning play is probably keeping the Georgia Tech head coach up at night now.
