Named the MacLeod Course after Trump’s Scottish-born mother, it will welcome players at the Trump International resort in Menie in just under 12 months time.

Furthermore, bosses have insisted that the new course will perfectly complement the existing championship links at Trump International near Balmedie.

The resort will also claim to have “the greatest 36 holes in golf” and will feature the “largest sand dunes in Scotland.” Furthermore, the Macleod Course will provide spectacular views across the North Sea.

After being given the green light three years ago from the local council, Trump and his son Eric made a breakthrough on the project last year.

Trump international went on to claim the new course was “one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable” ever designed. However, Trump’s course near Balmedie has been clouded in controversy.

The dunes at Menie lost their status as a nationally-important protected environment. However, Republican candidate Trump will want to ensure the same issues don’t reoccur.

Vice President of Trump International Scotland, Sarah Malone, explained that the Macleod Course will be “one of the great wonders in the world of golf.

“Since breaking ground with President Trump and Eric Trump last spring, we have made extraordinary progress.

“This course is unlike any other links course ever built and is exceeding every expectation.

“A truly remarkable, world-class team of architects, engineers, environmental scientists and industry specialists have been working tirelessly in the background – etching out every square inch of this phenomenal piece of land to create one of the great wonders in the world of golf.”
